Im so darn glad he let me try it again,
cause my last time on earth I lived a whole world of sin.
Im so glad that I know more than I knew then.
Gonna keep on tryin till I reach the highest ground.

I'm an idiot.
World, keep on turnin'
Cause it won't be long.

So excited to see Tak today! Obviously only way this is possible is if my English presentation is perfectly finished and covered considerable ground in Frankenstine.
Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is exceptionally well-written; every sentence eloquently phrased and intricately constructed. It's insane when you think she was 18 by the time she'd finished it, in a chauvanistic society no less. Still, when I have daydreaming and swimming and sun on my mind, it's hard to concentrate on the construction of a monster. More so because I'm completely on the creation Frankensteiin's side - Victor created a human, but upon seeing how ugly it was, abandoned it. So Frankenstine Creation ! sympathy point, Victor Frankenstein, 0.
Frankenstine the creation hides out behind an educated family, the DeLacey's, accomodation, and through spying on them becomes educated, but when he approaches them he his met with fear and violence from all but the blind father, who eventually turns against him as well. FC 2: VF 0.
Frankenstein accidentally slays Victor's little brother, William, as fault of not recognizing his own stregnth. horrorfied at what he has done, he tried to cover his tracks by putting the little boy's locket into the apron of his nanny - the locket it subsequently found and the nanny is hanged, to Frankenstein the creation's horror. FC 4: VF 1.
Then more shit happens for which I only know the Wikipedia summary, culminating in Frankenstein saving a young girl from drowning in a river. A man, seeing the child in Frankenstein's arms, starts firing a gun at the 'monster'. Frankenstein is now sworn revenge on all humanity, especially, bitterly, his creator.
I do know, though, that later on in the novel, Frankenstein the creation demmands of Victor that he make the former a mate, for he is lonely. Totally reasonable request, right? I mean, think how much shit this guy has been through; nobody wants to be his friend, children scream at him... he accidentally killed people... Anyway, Victor says yes, ASSEMBLES ALL THE PARTS - yes, he digs up more body parts, collects fluids, really goes for it - and then decides that he doesn't want another "monster" on his concience, let alone his creation breeding.
One thing I have left out is that Victor has actually been following Frankenstein, and percieves the damage he has done as voluntary acts of vengeance against his creator. Victor begins to become mentally troubled. And when he finally confronts his creation, when the latter is demmanding a mate, hearing the phrase "You are my creator, but I am your master. Obey!" can not be all that soothing.
STILL! come on. I had this conversation with my mom, or attempted to, and she didn't understand what I was talking about, at all.
Anyway, I've finally finished my 5 minute presentation on Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray - 'Wilde depicts the protagonist’s soul’s imprisonment as a perverse sort of preservation; while Dorian’s life and actions leave no mark on his physique, the frank cruelty of his corruption is documented on the face of his painted counterpart, preserving the character’s history.' - and now I'm gonna go buy some cigarettes, buy I'm With You FINALLY (I'm one of those people who have to bribe themselves with something good in order to finish an assignment) annnnndddddddddddddd....
hmm. Need to shower. Might straighten my hair after mum leaves for Pilates at six. Read more Frankenstein (the more Frankenstein I read the closer I get to allowing myself to think about seeing the Chilis in Manchester when I visit Rach - although there is a chance, a very strong chance, in fact i'm positively certain, that all the tickets will be sold out by this time tomorrow, or they were by this time 5 days ago. Still, nobody wants to see them in Manchester - everyone will be booking London or Milan (fuck you Sammy, Nina). Maybe.
And then tonight I will see Tak! :D

Anyway that's all for now,
Peace x
